This show covers a lot of ground. The star is the last in the under $100 mic series, the Sennheiser e835. The 835 has a lot of low end as you can probably hear. Our QC Specialist noticed a bit of over-aggressive gating on this show (he’ll be getting a raise ; ), no doubt due to much needed tweaking in the processing room. Back to the 835. A nice microphone, a little heavy on the low end, but very smooth.

A quick mention of the H2 is in order since I’ve been dabling with it. Considering the features, price-point and a few recordings I’ve already made, I think this will be another winner for Zoom. Much more to come as we do some extensive testing on this hot property.
