A Thursday edition of PodSqod squeezes through the enclosure tags.

I officially have “crimp hand” after crimping, then soldering more little DB-25 pins than I care to know about. The new Wheatstone console is up and running. A few trimmer pots and remote latchings for WaveCart and the project is complete.

On a completely different note, our friends at Aphex, makers of the world-famous 230 vocal strip have done it again! Keep in mind that this product has not yet been released. However, we will have one of the first ‘HeadPods’ in production so we can tell you all about it. After both Laura and I listened to this amazing audiophile headphone amp, it is hard to use another. I had a chance to talk with a product specialist about the concept and this one promises to deliver that legendary Aphex quality.
