Monday morning has dawned and Studio1A is brimming with Podcast Gear activity.

This week, the show production schedule is hectic. I am also drawing the plans for a completely re-vamped “on-air” studio with a true broadcast console. The NAB show will be a big help in planning this. The idea is to have a rock steady platform for broadcasts and a workstation that will allow me to carry out product reviews and demonstrations. A separate area is needed for multi-track voice-over work. …whew!

The on-air console and support devices will be a bit of a challenge and may just be a stand-up operation. The work areas will be a little easier and a lot less expensive.
