As I think about what to call this show, it becomes apparent that we really have a mixed bag.

Today, we demonstrate four different microphones. Two of them are from Electro-Voice, one from Rode and another from Heil.

All of these mics are tailored for broadcast, which means they’re as tough as nails and pick up a minimum of ambient noise. Most broadcast mics are dynamics. Rode is breaking that mold in a big way with their excellent Broadcaster.

In total, I must correct the number of performing mics to five, since Laura can’t be pulled away from her Heil Pink Pearl PR-20.
