Blue has a flair for microphones. From their unique namings to the microphone designs themselves, it’s hard to miss a Blue.

Today, I take to the air with a Blue Mouse. This is a large diaphram condenser, with a cardiod pattern. The discrete Class A electronics combine to make a little mic with a big sound. This is a popular studio and voiceover microphone.

I heard a very tightly formed low end and a brisk, crisp high that teamed up well with my voice. I often need full-on blast screening and foam filters for the low-end. …not so with the Mouse
