USB microphones are a hot topic and a hot commodity for Podcasting.

Just last week, we did a USB mic shootout between two Samson offerings and the Blue Snowball.

This show, we talk about a few new offerings. Both MXL and Rode are entering the market with the MXL USB006 and the much anticipated Rode Podcaster. The Rode is unique in that the body of the microphone has a built-in headphone amplifier. Finally, a USB mic that we can monitor in real-time!
