The B1
The B1 is a high-quality condenser that has almost a dynamic sound. It was not quite as bright as I was expecting. This one would be a great mic for instruments and I think Lauras voice fit this mic better than mine.

The C1
The C1 comes in an impressive metal (foam lined) carrying case. The mic looks and feels like a much more expensive model. This mic was nice and bright with plenty of highs. In a word, the C1 is “crisp”. …great for voiceovers and very articulate

The VTB1 Tube Preamp
This is a very cool little mic preamp with discrete components and a 12AX7 that allows you to “dial up” the amount of tube warmth you like. It also sports 2 different impedance settings (50 & 200 ohms). The grill gives off a nice blue glow (looks like blue LEDs shine on the tube?) …definitely a nice appearance

Listen in as I warm it up and feed the C1 condenser through this great little preamp.
