Number 4 is up and ready for listening. We cover a few top-notch Desktop Audio Workstations interfaces. This time, Laura and I try the ElectroVoice RE-20 and 27 microphones.

I must admit that we had a difficult time leveling these mics. …not at all like the Rodes. Of course, the levels are different in a dynamic, but I just couldn’t find that “sweet spot” like I did on the Rodes. There was some obvious clipping problems, but I will work them out.

Anyway, that’s what the show is about, so I will continue to tweak and make the RE-20 and 27 shine like I know they can.
